Who we are

WowPot.org is an independent affiliate information website. We are not owned by, operated by, or officially affiliated with the WowPot brand, Microgaming, Games Global, or any associated game studio. We provide editorial content about the WowPot progressive jackpot family and earn commission when readers click through to partner casinos and choose to play.

What we collect

We've tried to keep this list short and specific. Here's everything we collect, why we collect it, and where it lives.

We do not collect: your name, birthdate, address, phone number, payment information, or anything else beyond what's listed above. We do not run advertising pixels (no Meta, no Google Ads, no TikTok, no remarketing). We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

How we use this data

• Analytics — to understand which content readers find useful, so we know what to write more of and what to retire. We only look at aggregate trends, not individual sessions.
• Email subscriptions — to send you what you signed up for: alerts when the WowPot jackpot crosses meaningful milestones, plus a monthly recap of recent winners and new game releases.
• Server logs — for debugging, security monitoring, and protecting the site against abuse.
• Outbound clicks — to receive commission from the partner casino when a reader signs up and plays. The casino runs its own attribution; we just send the click.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, all for analytics. No advertising cookies, no remarketing cookies, no cross-site tracking.

Who we share data with

• Google — anonymised analytics data, via Google Analytics 4. Google's privacy policy.
• Ahrefs — anonymised analytics data, via Ahrefs Web Analytics. Ahrefs' privacy policy.
• Supabase — your email is stored on Supabase's infrastructure (PostgreSQL, US region). Supabase's privacy policy.
• Vercel — the site is hosted on Vercel; standard hosting metadata applies. Vercel's privacy policy.
• Partner casinos — when you click "Play Now", we pass affiliate tracking parameters. No personal data is transmitted in that click — just the click itself.

That's the complete list. We never sell email lists, we never share data with advertising networks, and we never use it for purposes beyond what's described on this page.

Your rights

Under the EU GDPR, the UK PECR, Quebec Law 25, and Canada's PIPEDA, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold about you:

• Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right to deletion — request that we delete your email and all associated subscription data
• Right to rectification — request that we correct inaccurate data
• Right to object — tell us to stop processing your data (which in practical terms means unsubscribing)
• Right to data portability — request your data in a portable format
• Right to withdraw consent — unsubscribe from emails at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us using the contact details below. We'll respond within 30 days (and usually within a few business days).

If you're in the EU or UK and feel we haven't handled your request properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International data transfers

Our hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), and analytics (Google, Ahrefs) providers are based in the United States. By submitting your email to us, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the US. These providers maintain appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, SOC 2, etc.) for handling international personal data.

Children

This site is intended for adults only — 19 or older in jurisdictions where 19 is the gambling age, 18 or older elsewhere. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 19. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle personal data — for example, if we add a new analytics tool, a new email campaign type, or any advertising tracking — we'll update this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. For any change that meaningfully affects existing subscribers, we'll send a heads-up to your inbox before the change takes effect.

Minor edits (typos, clarifying wording) won't be flagged.
