How We Review Casinos

Every recommendation on WowPot.org follows the same process. This page explains what we measure, where the numbers come from, and what our affiliate relationships do and do not influence.

Criteria

What we rate

1. Licensing and the dispute path

We verify the operating company and licence number against the regulator's own register, and we check whether an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution body (such as eCOGRA) stands behind the licence. A casino where you have somewhere to escalate a problem outranks one where you do not.

2. Payout reliability

We look at published withdrawal processes, identity-verification timing, and consistent patterns in player reports. We describe what a first withdrawal actually involves, including KYC pauses, rather than quoting best-case marketing numbers.

3. Cost of entry

Minimum deposits and minimum bets, as published by the operator. Where an entry offer exists we state its real terms; where terms are not published we say "not disclosed" instead of guessing.

4. Game range

Whether the casino carries the full WowPot and wider progressive jackpot library this site covers, on current software.

Independence

Affiliate links and what they change

WowPot.org earns a commission when players sign up through links on this site. That is how the site is funded, and it is disclosed on every page that carries such links. It does not change our rankings: the criteria above decide the order, and a casino cannot pay to move up. Where a casino stops being available or stops meeting our standards, it is removed from recommendation lists while its review remains published for accuracy.

Maintenance

How often reviews are updated

Reviews carry a last-reviewed date and are re-checked when an operator changes its offer, banking or licensing, or when player reports contradict what we have written. Live data, such as jackpot amounts, updates automatically. If you spot something outdated, tell us via the contact details on our About page and we will check it.

Reviews are researched and written with the oversight of Andre Weston, an iGaming industry consultant with over 20 years of operational experience.
